The Brelinger Berg was piled up to a height of 92 meters during the Saale Ice Age around 230,000 years ago. It is located in beautiful Wedemark. There is a landscape protection area around the mountain to restore the animal and plant world that has been affected by the heavy sand and gravel quarrying. On the summit of the Brelinger Berg there is a Gauss stone, which commemorates the land survey carried out by the mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss in 1828.

At least 92m above sea level with survey point and summit stone column. Of course you have to pay a visit to the summit of the Ice Age bed load. ;O)
