Hiking
The reserve has a size of about 47.45 hectares and contains a small heather, which probably emerged from a laced-off arm of the leash. For a home federation group, the goal is to protect and maintain the area. It is supported by several clubs and the Lions-Club Neustadt am Rübenberge. The European Union (EU) has declared the Blanke Flat to be particularly worthy of protection for the fauna, flora and habitat (FFH).
