Hiking

The white poplar was planted in the last year of the war (1945) by farmer Wilhelm Hornung near the mountain farms. The poplar is now around 35 meters high and has a trunk about 1.5 meters thick. The tree is one of four natural monuments that have been classified by ordinance in the Wernau district as particularly shaping the landscape and worthy of protection.
