The Kasbah du Toubkal is perched on an imposing hill overlooking the Imlil Valley, with its fields of walnut, cherry and apple trees.

Originally it was an Arab fortress where the Berber tribes lived, always restless.

Today the Kasbah is a luxury hotel with a social commitment. It was the setting for part of the movie "Seven Years in Tibet".

A beautiful place and we were lucky enough to stay here the night after our winter hike up Mt Toubkal. Imlil is also a cool place to stay.
