Sunnegga – Viewpoint and Trailhead

Sunnegga, at 2,288 meters above sea level, is something of a pivotal point in the mountains of Zermatt. Families and those seeking relaxation as well as bikers get their money's worth here. Refreshing yourself on the sun terrace and enjoying the breathtaking view is a great thing for everyone. Some prefer to chill on the beach at the nearby Leisee, while others get back on their bikes and enjoy one of the numerous bike trails on the mountain. What they all have in common is the constant view of the Matterhorn. By the way, the self-service restaurant is open all year round and is available for a break.

This starting point is very easy to reach by train and offers many possibilities for further tours.
