This stretch of cycle path between the Meije and Nieuwkoop has a beautiful nature on both sides, you will almost miss your eyes. This cycle path runs straight through Zuideinder polder and Kleine Polder, after you have passed Piet Potloot (The water tower) there is a folding gate (to keep the grazing herd inside) there is another folding gate at the end of the meadow. The cycle path was initially no more than a gravel path, but now it has been nicely adapted to a cycle path with concrete slabs. But you can take beautiful nature photos.

Watch out: the path cutting through the meadows is closed in the Spring - I expect mid March - mid June (breeding season). We had to take a bit of a boring asphalt/sidewalk detour therefore. Other than that super nice and wonderful stop at TaartEnThee café towards the end
