Private property but very worth seeing. Definitely pass by, up to a few meters you can approach.
The castle is located in the center of Neuenhof in the middle of the park created by Eduard Petzold on a high bank of the Werra. Immediately next to the castle stands the church of Neuenhof.
Neuenhof came in 1863 under the rule of the Franconian noble family of Rotenhan. This left the remains of the bower of the medieval castle as their last structural remnants and in 1863 built the castle in place of the earlier castle in the neo-Gothic style.
After the turnaround, the object stood empty for a short time. It was acquired and renovated by descendants of the previous owners. (Partly from Wiki)

Neuenhof Palace was built in the neo-Gothic style in the middle of the 19th century. The castle has an interesting history, especially everything that has been housed in it since 1945 (from border guards to old people's homes, from doctor's surgery to kindergarten ...). You should try the internet for that.
Today the castle is privately owned again and can therefore only be admired from the outside.
