It is a nativity scene made by miners, which consists of several large wooden figures. They should show the connection between mining in the Ore Mountains and the Christian faith. For example, the figure of Joseph in the nativity scene is symbolized by a miner. Other figures also come from the world of mining in the Ore Mountains. There are also figures from the life of a Wilhelminian town in the Ore Mountains. In the final state, the “Annaberger Nativity Path” should include 31 figures.
