Mountain biking

The Ringdamm - The sprawling valley requires special measures. The Altmühltal is very flat and wide. A dam across the valley like Brombach and Rothsee would have put a huge area under water. The storage space for the lake was therefore created by the construction of a circumferential ring dam. The water area with a size of 4.5 km2 is thus higher than the area surrounding the lake.
