Location: approx. 1 km west of Arnegg in the Herzenwiler forest. NSV Gossau has owned and maintained its own area of 19,777 m2 in the nature reserve since 1994. Access is easily possible from 2 small byways.
General description: Richly structured moor surrounded by forest with several ponds, fens, tall herb meadows, wet meadows, reed zones, groups of bushes and trees. Particularly valuable area for birds, dragonflies, insects and amphibians. Species-rich flora with many species that have become rare.
