Mill "De Arend" is a round, stone mill in Terheijden. The mill was built in 1742 by order of the noble Nassau-Siegen family in Breda. A large bricked-in memorial stone above the entrance commemorates this. The mill was rebuilt after a fire in 1756.
A scaffolding mill is a high windmill with a scaffolding or balcony. Such a mill is usually located in built-up areas and must therefore be high to catch sufficient wind. The blades and tail therefore do not reach the ground.
