From this rest area you have a great view of the Hubertus Viaduct. The building was built in a curve over the Hubertusschlucht. The viaduct is 150 meters long, 50 meters high and has six openings. Maybe you'll see the Hunsrück cable car on its way between Emmelshausen and Boppard.

Impressive view of the curved viaduct. A timetable provides information about the next look "by train". And they come more often than you initially think, so be patient for a few minutes, it's worth it 😀The Hubertus Viaduct (Hubertusschluchtbrücke) leads in a curve over the Hubertusschlucht. The structure has six openings 150 m long and 50 m high. At the time of construction, it was one of the highest stone arch bridges in Germany. The bridge was built from embossed red sandstone blocks from the Neckar region. The undersides of the arches are covered with brick. At the level of the fighter, iron girders for the teaching scaffold protrude from the pillars. The final stair-frieze on both sides of the bridge has side paths secured by iron bars. Every second bridge pillar is completed by a stone parapet cantilevered.
