The Hocheck
The Hocheck, located on the border between the Alps and the Vienna Woods, is at 1037m the last 1000 of the pre-Alps. From the observation tower at the summit, there is a comprehensive panoramic view, from the Hochwechsel over Schneeberg, Rax, the Mariazeller mountains, the Dunkelsteiner forest, the Tullnerfeld, and Vienna to the Leithagebirge, on clear days you can see the Neusiedlersee.
