If you start the Rotwandalm from the Sylvenstein over the Bächental you reach the Lochalm Mitterleger (1432m). From here a path branches off to the right up to Tiefenbachalm (1602m) and Lochalm-Hochleger (1628m). In view of the Marbichler peak (1898m), Kafell (1906m) and Rether head (1926m) can be reached on this way a wonderfully located alpine area around the Tiefenbachalm (1602m) and the Lochalm-Hochleger (1628m). Just a few steps to the small summit cross and you can enjoy a fantastic view over the countless mountain peaks of the Karwendelgebirge. This detour with about 200 hm is definitely very rewarding.
