The alpine inn of the same name is located on the Gernalm, which offers a rich menu and rustic rooms for overnight stays, surrounded by the magnificent Alpine panorama. The house is very well maintained and of high quality, so the prices are not a low-budget offer. Nevertheless, a nice starting point for tours in the Karwendel and around the Achensee.
