On the Grenzweg you will find some old boundary stones in which the year 1837 as well as KP and KH are carved. KP stands for Kingdom of Prussia, KH stands for Electorate Hesse and not Kingdom of Hesse or Kingdom of Hanover. After the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the Thuringian area around Erfurth was assigned to the Prussians, and in 1866 the Electorate of Hesse became part of the Kingdom of Prussia.

The border route Gobert is a highlight in several respects: For MTBers a nice single trail to ride, for hikers a nice way. There are botanical, geological and above all historical relics for both. The course of the border between the kingdoms of Hesse and Prussia can be traced over almost the entire length of the trail. In several places there are also markings of the former inner German border. Kella lies in the south of the basin formed by the Gobert mountain range. On the road from Grebendorf to Kella there is a memorial in Braunrod to commemorate the lifting of the division of Germany.
