The footbridge leads from the Max-Eyth-See over the Neckar to the other side. Especially at the weekend I would recommend cyclists to change the bank here if you are heading towards Mühlhausen. Here the path is wider and there are fewer pedestrians, and you avoid the bottleneck and the barriers that come further along the path to the lock.
