The dam of the Ismaninger reservoir marked here divides the lake into an east and a west basin, and at the same time serves as a traffic axis and panoramic road with in places a wide view over both parts of the lake. The numerous waterfowl have plenty of space to "run out", but various specimens can usually also be found near the shore and can therefore be observed well.
