The A40-Rheinbrücke is a motorway bridge that crosses the Rhine at Duisburg between the Neuenkamp and Homberg districts. It connects the Ruhr area with the Lower Rhine. Every day 100,000 vehicles cross the A40 Rhine Bridge on their way to Duisburg, Essen or Venlo. The A40 motorway offers a direct connection from the Netherlands to Dortmund.
