The Church of the Holy Cross on Kaßberg Hill was built in 1935/1936 by master church architect Otto Bartning. The 40-meter-high tower, a freestanding bell tower, clearly references Italian models and is an eye-catcher in this Wilhelminian-era district with its listed buildings.
