Plant of the German coastal artillery, which Jæren was to defend during the Second World War.
The Veda Mountains are frequently visited not only as a hiking destination, but also because of its wartime memories.
The German fortress has several tunnels. It is important to bring a bag or a headlamp as all tunnels and bunkers are dark.

From the car park, the path meanders in an autumnal and beautiful terrain. There is a good way, and parts of the way lead on wooden boards to the Vedafjellet.
