Pionier Bridge Bergedorfer Gehölz

The Pioneer Bridge at Bergedorfer Gehölz is an important part of the popular cycle and hiking trail that connects Bergedorf with Reinbek across the Bille.
Like all wooden bridges, it can be really slippery when wet - so be careful.
Unfortunately, it is a bit old...some of the planks clatter when you drive across. But it is fun and it is an important bridge in this region.

Here you can drive super, only at the weekend is a lot going on. Otherwise just enjoy nature 🌱🌳🌿

Due to new construction and delivery difficulties on the Hamburg side, the public now has to accept a subsequent forced break for nature conservation reasons. Construction will continue on the Reinbek side from October 2022 and the Pioneer Bridge should finally be able to be used again in January 2023.
It's strange that it's always projects involving the Reinbek building authority that somehow never get finished...
