Former AEG factory complex with houses that are well worth seeing. The Rathenauviertel is a characteristic and high-quality example of a factory settlement from the early 20th century and has been under protection as a monument area since November 24, 1993.

The Rathenauviertel was built in 1910 as a plant housing the then electronics company AEG. The workers' houses, with their brick details and pointed gables, have been listed as historical monuments since 1993. At the corner of Spandauer Allee and Edisonstraße there is a picturesque fountain.

The "Rathenauviertel" in Hennigsdorf was built from 1910 as a workers' housing project for AEG on an area of approx. 13 hectares opposite the factory premises according to plans by the architect Peter Behrens. From 1920 Jean Krämer continued the expansion of the settlement. With the construction of the The Rathenau Park was laid out in 1923.
