The Great Brombachsee is the largest and deepest of all lakes in the Franconian Lake District: It measures a bank length of 17.5 kilometers and a water depth of 32.5 meters. The flooding was completed in 2000. The Große Brombachsee, Kleine Brombachsee and the Igelsbachsee are separated from each other by accessible and accessible dams.

A fantastic and diverse local recreation area has emerged here. The five leisure regions offer everything your heart desires from beach volleyball to beer gardens, playgrounds and sandy beaches with wonderful swimming opportunities to sailing schools ...

In addition, there are separate bike and footpaths around the lakes. The asphalting of the bike paths is continued year after year, so that at some point the circular route around the lake should be completely passable with inliners.

The Great Brombachsee is the largest reservoir in the Franconian Lake District and is one of the largest dams in Germany. It is an important local recreation area. Here you can sail, windsurf, kitesurf and of course swim.

A tour with the Trimaran MS Brombachsee is a special experience.

Beautiful playgrounds, many tourist offers and forests around the lake.

On one side of the large Brombachsee the path leads directly along the lake, and on the other side the view of the lake is almost constantly blocked by trees.
