The Great Brombachsee is the largest and deepest of all lakes in the Franconian Lake District: It measures a bank length of 17.5 kilometers and a water depth of 32.5 meters. The flooding was completed in 2000. The Große Brombachsee, Kleine Brombachsee and the Igelsbachsee are separated from each other by accessible and accessible dams.
