The Haastrecht mill is a national monument from 1862 and quite unique! It is the only round, stone polder mill with scaffolding in the Netherlands that can be used for grinding.

The Haastrechtse Molen (in full: Molen van Polder Beneden Haastrecht) is a round stone tower mill on Provincialeweg West 64 (IJsseldijk) in Gouda. This polder mill is owned by the Water Board of Schieland and the Krimpenerwaard. The mill will electrically or using wind power bollards the Beneden Haastrecht polder. The mill has a mortar for dewatering.

Due to the high dikes along the Hollandse IJssel, the mill was built as a scaffold mill. It is the only grinding round stone polder mill with a rack in the Netherlands.

The Haastrechtse Molen can be visited by appointment.

The Haastrechtse Molen is a round stone polder mill from 1862, located near Haastrecht in South Holland. The mill played an important role in the water management of the Hoenkoop polder. Although it is no longer in operation, the mill remains a striking national monument and landmark in the peat meadow landscape.
