Waiting in front of the bridge in beautiful Haastrecht, with a view of the old ferry house. Worth a visit. Delicious coffee stop in the conservatory in Hotel/restaurant "Over de Brug". From here you have a nice view of the boats passing by.

The dike between Oudewater and Gouda is a beautiful old dike. You have a beautiful view on both sides and it meanders beautifully through the landscape. You also have the option to follow a cycle path along the Hollandse IJssel just after Hekendorp or after Haastrecht towards Hekendorp.
