Road cycling
Extraction of quicklime from limestone in the kilns was carried out between 1870 and 1924.
After the Second World War, the lime kilns were partially modernized. They had to be closed in the mid-1950s. Due to structural changes in the lime industry, the operation of smaller individual kilns was no longer profitable.
