Jägerpfad

Magnificent hiking trail that overcomes a few meters in altitude in the forest. Again and again you cross tributaries of the Stockumer Bach on the Jägerweg. In the upper area you come to a viewing bench from which you can see the extent of the increasing aridity of this forest: The spruce monocultures have been severely destroyed by bark beetles and storms in recent years and large areas had to be cut down.

On the way there is a great view of the Ochsenkopf. Benches invite you to linger.

Nice hiking trail, also MTB riders use it. Therefore, be careful in between.

At the moment there is a tree across just before the second bridge. Alternatively, you can continue to the left, although that would be a task of 10 minutes 🤔
