"Between Brandenburg and the Saxon land, the town greets you kindly on the edge." The city of Ortrand is the southernmost town in the district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz. In the old town there are many interesting buildings to discover, i.a. the church at the church square, the old village school and a beautiful market square with town hall. The gastronomy on the market invites you to take a break on the way to Saxony. The state is just a stone's throw away from the city of Ortrand.
