The Kollund Skov is very pretty and varied. Particularly noteworthy is the section of Gendarmstien to Kollund Mol. Beautiful views of the other side of the fjord with the Flensburg "skyline" and the Marineschule Mürwik.

Bathers may appreciate the small jetty and the gently sloping water, but the beach is often quite stony, the same applies to the water and there are smaller fields of seaweed here and there, as the fact that Fjordvej runs directly above the beach does the same although easily accessible, it should frighten those visitors who like it quiet and secluded.
