Tips
The immense north face of the Grubenkarspitze surrounds the Engen Grund in a semicircle. The rock faces rise almost vertically to over 1,000 meters. Snow avalanches that crash down the slopes in winter often remain in the shadow of the walls all year round. On the green slopes deep below the rock faces you have an excellent chance of seeing chamois.

A nice hike to Enger reason. However, we did not reach the end as a bridge collapsed (May 2019).
