Lovely ride through Delamere Forest. You can't go wrong on a mtb or emtb. I entered the forest at New Pale and went round lots of trails to the holiday lodges and came out on Waterloo Lane.

Net's Cafe is well placed to provide a welcome and welcoming rest stop as you walk along the Ness foreshore. A pleasant outdoor seating area is provided and Net's appeared to be popular with families.

The Millenium Greenway runs along an old railway line from Mickle Trafford, located east of Chester, through the historic city of Chester to the Wharf at Connah's Quay. This cycling or walking route is short, traffic-free and fairly flat. It makes for the perfect day out for families or less experienced cyclists.

The blue graded sections of trail at Delamere are all flowy, roll-able singletrack. Great for experienced riders to swoop along or newer riders to practice following a brilliant trail through the woods.
