Very nice view of both the sea and the Lassithi plain with the surrounding mountains. Old Minoan settlement just below the summit.

We ascended from Archanes. Immediately after this great fortified path it becomes adventurous and climbing again. Also for the descent firm, ankle-high shoes are highly recommended, which is often missing in the light holiday baggage, as with us.

Before climbing the last few meters to the summit, you can refresh yourself at the spring. There is also a signpost to the Minoan settlement that was found here.
