Good views of the French and Catalan Mediterranean Sea. One of the last milestones on my 75-day Pyrenees crossing in 2018 from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.

Last almost 1000m with the beautiful view of the destination Banyuls-sur-mer on the GR10 after 75 days of my Pyrenees crossing from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. A moving moment so close to the goal.

Castle located on top of a hill overlooking the neighboring valleys of Monte Neulós, about seven kilometers east of the neighborhood of Requesens. Its term corresponds to that of the old town of Requesens, a town in La Jonquera.

Pass underneath Battery 500. 10 minutes later in the direction of Banyuls-sur-Mer the first vines begin. The picture with the sign is 3 minutes above at the junction to battery 500.
