If you’re dreaming of getting out into the Alps this summer, breathing the alpine air, exploring idyllic valleys and cycling alongside clear mountain streams, then this is the Collection for you. In the Alpbachtal region, a classic alpine landscape awaits. Our Tours are superb whether you opt for a mountain bike or an E-Bike. But this is just the start...
The Alpbachtal is located in the Tiroler Unterland and is framed by the Kitzbühel Alps and the Rofan Mountains. The Alpbachtal Wildschönau is a skier’s dream in winter, while the region is a paradise for numerous active pursuits in summer.
The Alpbachtal’s landscape and culture has been preserved in a manner that’s rare these days in the Alps. This is highlighted by the fact that Alpbach is considered the most beautiful village in Austria, thanks to its uniform, traditional wooden architecture and stunning surroundings. The quality of our food – which is renowned by foodies – and the care that goes into preserving our traditional values are also of great importance. Tellingly, the number of farms has hardly changed in the past hundred years. Many products come directly from the fields to the valley’s kitchens. Many of our alpine pastures are also managed and produce food too. Whether it's bacon, bread or cheese, you can taste the Alpbachtal in each mouthful.
In this Collection, we present eight Tours that explore the most beautiful spots in the region and are a pleasure whether you decide to opt for an E-Bike or not. They range from 14 to 31 kilometres (9 to 19 mi) and you’ll find an alpine pasture, an inn or somewhere to buy a snack in each. Some are also suitable as bike & hike Tours, meaning you can leave your bike and venture on to a summit by foot. Once you’ve finished exploring, you could take a swim in one of the lakes or stroll through the centres of Alpbach, Reith im Alpbachtal or Rattenberg.

The tour to the Thaleralm starts in Alpbach, for many the most beautiful village in Austria. The reason for this lies in the uniform townscape with the many beautiful houses and their wooden facades. You can therefore plan a foray through the town before or after the tour.

The tour to the Bayreuther Hütte is one of the kind where you will appreciate the tail wind from your e-bike, because the ascent is long and in places quite steep. The nice thing about the tour is that after the nine-kilometer ascent, during which you climb a good 1,000 meters in altitude, you will be…
