This tour takes you into the tranquil Luegergraben, which extends south-east after the end of the valley near Inneralpbach. At the hiking car park in Inneralpbach, you then start this moderately difficult tour with 15 kilometers and 700 meters of altitude. If you want to go even higher, make sure to put on suitable footwear - then you can also consider continuing on foot to the Sonnjoch.Immediately after the start, at the intersection in front of Conny's Original Tiroler Wirtshaus, turn left and follow the moderately steep, asphalted side road into the Luegergraben. Surrounded by imposing peaks such as the Großer Beil and Heimjoch and beautiful old farmhouses along the way, time flies by.After a while the side road becomes a gravel forest road and the gradient increases a little. Before it gets exhausting, the Faulbaumgartenalm offers the first break. But it's not too far to the goal, the Steinbergalm. Strictly speaking, you will reach it after another 250 meters of altitude. This original alpine pasture is managed by herdsman Hannes Klingler, who of course also offers his self-made cheeses as a snack. Whether you end the day on the Alm or aim for the Sonnjoch is entirely up to you. To Inneralpbach it goes back on the same route.
