The Brandenberg Alps are known for their quiet and scenic corners. There are also many worthwhile destinations here on a mountain bike, one of which is the Gufferthütte. With a good 30 kilometers and an altitude of 900 meters, the tour is quite demanding, but does not make any great technical demands. The tour is particularly worthwhile on hot summer days, as it always offers opportunities for swimming.

The starting point of this day-long tour is at the traditional Kaiserhaus. The forest road begins right next to the Kaiserhaus, which you follow along the Brandenberger Ache to the Trauersteg. There you cross the river and, protected by the forest, you continue gently uphill through the narrowing valley. After six kilometers you will reach a bridge, on which you will translate and then follow the course of the forest road in the valley of the Bairache. Now it goes through a wonderful alpine cultural landscape towards the goal.
There is one last steep ascent to overcome and you have reached the destination of the tour. The Gufferthütte is popular with hikers and mountain bikers alike, which is why there is usually a lot going on here. You can also spend a night in the hut and take a closer look at the charming area or hike up one of the nearby mountains. The return to the Kaiserhaus is then back on the same route. If you have enough time, it is worth taking a short exploration tour back to the starting point in the Kaiserklamm, the entrance of which is right next door.
