Actually we were out extra early because I wanted to take pictures of butterflies. The week before last we saw a few more at Falkenberg, but interestingly enough, I didn't see a single one here. There was a small compensation at the pond.

Always nice for in between. Hopefully there will be something longer and more exciting after a long break in the near future.

Even in the fall, a very rewarding area for walking. Actually, we wanted to still along the Ihme to Maschsee and then from "down" back to the city center, halfway but then the hunger has triumphed and we have abbreviated. Unfortunately, the sequence of highlights is displayed incorrectly here. The tour starts in the large garden, followed by the mountain garden.

The second of two tours of the green ring, where you can get on and off with the S-Bahn - but today with rail replacement traffic from Bremer Tor. A pretty nice tour.

A nice tour through the Harburger mountains, but with a very low highlight density.

We actually planned to complete the 2nd Green Ring this year. Because of the good accessibility by suburban train and underground, we started today with the second stage, which is characterized in particular by allotments.

A nice little round to match the summer temperatures again. Here, too, in northern Hamburg, the heath flowers.(Incidentally, the elevation profile is nonsense, of course.) I did not calibrate the altimeter until after about one kilometer.)
