Gray and rainy – that's how the last few days (weeks) have been, and that's the forecast for the coming days as well. Sunshine and blue skies have been very rare in recent weeks, and when they have, only for short periods.

Finally... today is my weekly day off and I'm greeted by sunshine right at the breakfast table 🤗 One (woman 😉) has to set priorities... first, it's off to get some fresh air 🥾🥾 and enjoy the sun, and then comes the weekend shopping, among other things.

After my walk in the Wagbach lowlands on December 31, 2025, I was "visited" by a stomach bug in the late afternoon 😒 and unfortunately, it lasted for a few days.



The year 2026 started off well 🙃... so it can only get better, I still have 12 months to go 😀

Now I'm fit again and have already been back

We've had wonderful sunny 🌞 weather these past few days, but I couldn't persuade any of the three of them to go on proper hikes with forests, rocks, and scenic views

Despite the sunny weather, my first order of business this morning was cleaning the house... unfortunately 🥴.



My Christmas visitors are coming to my door the day after tomorrow, and I wanted everything to be sparkling, not just the ornaments on the Christmas tree 😉. But by midday, nothing could keep

Today was my last weekly day off before Christmas, and I had a few errands to run this morning. My sister and her two children are coming to visit me for the Christmas holidays 🤗, so the fridge shouldn't be empty 😀, and of course, I needed a few small gifts 😉. I did some shopping this morning and then thought about what to do with the rest of the day.
