The Roaches Walk (+ Hen Cloud) [PeakDistrict.org]
Was it a walk or was it a climb? Quite hard climb in places but all good. Fab views. Very windy today

LS16 to Boston Spa
Nice ride with a number of off road trails. Up to Eccup Reservoir, across Harrogate Rd up little trail to Manor House Lane, along Wigton Lane past all the rich folks mansions and across to Scarcroft past even bigger mansions! Down Thorn Lane and onto kennels lane which is off road takes you back onto Thorner Lane where you turn off onto Dalyon Lane which is a track through the woods. Then it’s a bit of wiggling on the cycle path across the A1 into Boston Spa. There’s a few nice cafes. We made our way back via Bramham turning off Thorner Rd opposite the south approach to Bramham Park off road through the woods around Wothersome Lake ending up on Thorner Lane left onto Milner Lane and right through Hetchell Woods, across Wetherby Rd and back. A bit of zig zagging to make the most of being off road.

Didnt have time to do a circular route today but lovely all the same. Coffee n cake at Puddleducks Cafe in Dunsop Bridge, then followed the river. Stunning scenery

Beautiful weather for a beautiful walk. The way up from the lake is quite a haul but worth it for the views from the top. So peaceful it recharges the batteries .

O my what a beaut! The sun shone the roads were quiet the views were stunning. Epic bit of off road through forest. Nice village shop/cafe at Braithwaite.. The hills in the lakes are befuddling!!!! You think youre ggoing up and youre going down, then you think youre going down and youre going up!!! Did
