We had the tower to ourselves then; later when we rode past again on the way to the Berggasthof Gießhübel, there were masses of people out 🙈.

Beautiful introductory tour after arriving in the Black Forest; the way there was quite warm 🥵😎, but on the way back there was plenty of water for the two 🐾🐾🐾🐾 to cool off 🌊.

The Nahe is so close; with a significantly shorter journey than the Black Forest... 🤷🏻♂️
But also a very beautiful trail, maybe a bit too hot today, especially for the two 🐾🐾🐾🐾; luckily there was a well at the crossing in Durchroth to refill, because you pass a lot of water, but it's too far away or inaccessible. 😶🙈😬

For us today, it was more of an alpine nightmare than a dream path; the first 2km and the last 2km went past freshly manured fields, or fields that were being manured right then - catastrophe. 😵
The advertised "Beautiful View"; we're still wondering who came up with the idea to call it that...

To finish, we did a really nice loop from Wallgau; via the Magdalena-Neuner-Panoramaweg, past 3 waterfalls and a really very nice picnic spot.

Nice round, and above all not as overrun as the Eibsee... However, due to the heat, the paths were quite "borderline" in places; especially the second to last picture - we easily got across on the way there; on the way back "no chance", but luckily a crossing a bit uphill was in sight... 🙈🤷

Normally we go up the path parallel to the Kranzberglift; and back down again "around the back" towards Ferchensee; then over the Lautersee back "home"...
Since part of these paths are/were not cleared, and you have to be a bit more careful with the dogs anyway, we took an alternative route - also beautiful
