Text and photos: SteffenOn October 17th, 2021, Steffen and I set off on our bikes to, among other things, Watching cranes in the NSG Huvenhoopsmoor. Unfortunately not a single specimen of this genus was found. But we got to see quite a few geese on our trip.
We continued over the Bullenberg in Lamstedt-Nindorf, an elevation formerly used by the military. From there you can enjoy a wonderful all-round view. We recommend!
On the way to the diving paradise in Kreidesee Hemmoor, we made a detour to the historic transporter bridge over the Oste.
Of course, there should also be a bit of gravel under the tires for our wide-tire racing bikes on this tour, and so we crossed the Silberberg with its 74m above sea level.
On the way to Bad Bederkesa we stopped at the Balksee and were able to admire the "crown cap art" in the observation tower.
The old Schiffdorfer floodgate east of Bremerhaven was roughly the last highlight of the day that we reached with "Highlight". Everything else after that could only be seen in advanced twilight or darkness.
After around 2:30 p.m., an eventful day and the journey together came to an end.

I had the honor of receiving a Komoot invitation from @ Heldralph. He is the legendary double inventor. (Approach the same place names in one tour, a picture on the place name sign is mandatory!)
This time there were even 2 duplicates. Very relaxed entertaining tour.

First of all: This great round was planned and led by Dietrich / spechtX.
It can hardly be any rounder! Simply great. The weather was well tempered and dry, no breakdowns, delicious cakes in the café at the Mühlenteich and once again a sociable and talkative group had found each other. The kilometers rolled by in a flash and basically we found ourselves in Dietrich's garden in the evening far too quickly to end the day with homemade pizza and around the campfire. Many thanks again to Dietrich and the weather god for the invitation, the great planning and the success. (Text: Panter-Paul)

In these times one goes on vacation in Germany again. As a result, you can visit your friends there too. So off to breakfast in Otterndorf on the Elbe.
