Back in Germany, we headed to the northern foothills of the Harz Mountains, to Vienenburg.
In Vienenburg, the Radau flows into the Oker. The Radau is a 21.1 km long river. It rises in Torfhaus and flows via Bad Harzburg to Vienenburg. The Radau is known for the Radau waterfalls on the western slope

On this Whit Monday morning, we headed to the Fuhserandweg. I did a similar tour, including a photo blog, in November last year. Back then, there were no leaves on the trees. This time in May, however, there were, and we also found a couple of geocaches.
