Today is our last stage. Let's go to berlin! And finally we can also use our rain gear 😉. But there will only be a few 💦.
It goes through the Nuthetal from Luckenwalde to Blankensee and Potsdam. There we admire the Nikolai Church, the state parliament and the Dutch quarter. We enter Berlin over the Glieniker Bridge and are amazed at the many climbs in the Grunewald. Thanks to Fridays for Future, we can drive exclusively to the Brandenburg Gate on Straße des 17. Juni.
Done. Almost 500 km and over 3,000 hm. We have become a great team 👍👍👍👍👍

Today the Elbe has our full attention. With a distance of 90 km, we have little time to wander to the right or left. Meissen is the most impressive 🤩. Especially the Schloßberg with 🏰 and ⛪️ dismissed us. A decent lunch break in Pirna with pasta and isotonic drink (of course without alcohol) 😋. Torgau rewards us with a great and brand new youth hostel, a beautiful old town and a delicious dinner as a reward 👍👍👍

All in all, it was really just downhill. In the end there were 860 hm (uphill) on the clock.
At the beginning we drove a good bit uphill, through fragrant forests. Downhill and uphill for a long time.
Vmax = 71km / h 👍🤪🤩. The old post road Depcin - Dresden led us to the Königstein mountain fortress. Just a little way up the river, a 15% gradient and we have reached the YH in Bad Schandau.

The start of our father / son tour scratches the 1,000 hm mark. At the beginning it goes uphill through the residential districts of Dresden. The picturesque remains of socialist naivism 🧐 can be found on some houses. Immediately after checking the tire pressure, the tube repaired that morning bursts 😡. Later it becomes rural and the roads are less busy. The last descent gives us a lot of trouble, but we made it!
