Today we made an interesting trip from the rustic Heimbach in the Eifel to the LVR open-air museum in Kommern. A visit is always worthwhile as the museum continues to develop and grow. There are also great events, you can buy bread/baked goods/cakes from the museum bakery - delicious ☺!

Mit guten Freunden besuchten wir heute den kulinarischen Adventsmarkt in Wermelskirchen. Ein breit aufgestelltes Programm mit Nikolaus, Musikeinlagen, Polarexpress, Kinderkarussell und vielen "Futterstellen" - deftig und/oder süß - sorgt für Unterhaltung und gefüllte Bäuche... Uns zog es zum größten Adventkranz im bergischen Land: Klasse gemacht und super dekoriert 👍. Im Rathausgebäude konnten viele Aussteller warm und trocken ihre handgefertigten Kunstwaren verkaufen. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich eine Modelleisenbahn-Ausstellung (kostet aber 3 € Eintritt 🤔). Schade, dass das Wetter so trübe und regnerisch war 🌫☔️.
