Great place to explore, we got lucky with the weather and the views we brilliant. Clear trail, excellent cafe at the start/end of the walk and can be shortened or extended as much as you want. Brilliant one for families!
No route in mind, just turn up and have a walking catch up with friends! A lovely place, pretry quiet midweek and a great place for sunrise/sunset!
As you've probably guessed, I forgot to stop our activity - the waterfall trail is a short out and back, very clear path suitable for families and prams with a great view point and waterfalls, along with fairy houses along the way! Highly recommend if you're in the area!
We found a trail that skirted the edges of Clougha as we didn't have enough time for the full fell, however the path can be quite tricky to navigate as it's not very visible! Great adventure but probably not suitable for families.
A great family friendly walk, clear paths and not as busy as we'd thought! If you'd rather avoid a bit of a steep walk, i'd do our route in reverse (like we discovered everyone else was doing) 😂😂
A lovely fell for a picnic! Completely forgot to record our walk properly but the path is very easy to follow, only downside is how busy it gets on sunny days at the weekend! We're going to head back for sunrise/sunset midweek.
May have completely forgotten to turn my tracking off until I reached the shops! Great day in the sun with the mini, collecting small bits of litter left around. Luckily this beauty spot isn't too busy and well maintained.

a really enjoyable circular route with incredible views from the start, suitable for all abilities (with the correct footwear) just be aware it can get very busy!

Great route and family friendly, although not suitable for a buggy. Please note there is currently a road closure are the far end of the reservoir, preventing a circular route (unless you go past via white coppice). Maintenance work is scheduled to be finished in June/July!
