Danach bei traumhaftem Wetter über die Kennedybrücke auf die andere Rheinseite. Am Fluss entlang bis zur Friedrich-Ebert-Brücke geschlendert – und von dort wieder entspannt am Rhein zurück. Spontan ging’s heute von Brühl Mitte aus los. Zu Beginn war der Himmel noch bedeckt, aber im Laufe der Tour kam die Sonne durch und es wurde richtig angenehm. Die Route führte durch den Naturpark Rheinland, vorbei am Heider Bergsee. Besonders schön war der Abschnitt am Villenhofer Maar – dort laden mehrere kleine Stege am Ufer zu einer kurzen Pause ein. Die Strecke verlief überwiegend durch den Wald, was für eine ruhige Atmosphäre und etwas Schatten gesorgt hat. Die Wege waren durchweg gut zu gehen. Insgesamt eine richtig schöne Runde, die ich gerne weiterempfehle.
