Unfortunately, it got a bit wet, and the gusty wind was annoying. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the beautiful autumn colors.

Today I hiked the 66 Lakes Trail with Grandpa and Henry. For technical reasons, we walked from Wandlitzsee station to Wensickendorf station, saving us a 40-minute wait in Barsdorf.
It was fun, and we saw a lot. The most beautiful view was the sunflower fields at the end of the hike.

Today we took a short trip to Kühlungsborn to the model railway exhibition at the Hotel Aquamarin. Since we like to travel by train, we gave it a try. I also got all the stamps I wanted and certain autographs from the train crew.
A successful day.
The weather was good too, we didn't get wet and the sun was out for a short time.

Today we did a small, slightly different tour with our two grandchildren from Wartenberg to Pankow-Heinersdorf in Tiniusstrasse to the Khadija Mosque. We also went to Malchow to the peat pits. Here we saw another heron and grey heron. The rest of the route took us along the Fließgraben to Blankenburg

Went to the model railway exhibition in Lehnitz with Benni. Afterwards we went around the Lehnitzsee to the Oranienburg S-Bahn station.
It was another beautiful day. The weather wasn't as nice as the last few days, but the foliage was still very beautiful. The important thing is that we liked it.

First, the steam train ride with locomotive 44 through the Wuhlheide on line 2. The grandchildren were delighted to ride on such a loudly whistling locomotive.
After a small snack, we walked home through the Wuhletal.
The boys walked well, thank you for so much discipline and calm, so that we even saw a heron.

Show my daughter and grandchildren what they are capable of, only if they want to and the route is appealing to them. In the Harz and with the stamp hunt, this is also possible. It works quite well for them.
