Today, ten of us followed the Rur on its approximately 20 km course from Düren to Jülich. As soon as we had left the urban area of Düren and crossed to the left bank of the river, we were able to enjoy a lot of peace and an almost lush vegetation. We took a first break on the riverbank in the grass

Everything began at Nettersheim near the „Grünen Pütz” – at least that's true for the Roman Canal and the hiking trail of the same name. With a total of 15 cheerful hiking friends, we set off in search of clues and hiked partly along the historical waterway from Nettersheim to Kall.
