The last stage included a small detour on the Camino de Santiago from A Coruña to Santiago.

But we found the turn-off in time at a never-ending roundabout, where long traffic light delays meant we barely covered 500 m back to the starting point in 30 minutes.

After a final coffee or ColaCau with two old

After arriving in Coruna late in the afternoon, following the described confusion with the bus schedule and then a taxi + bus, we took a short walk through the hospital district in search of something to eat.

However, we were somewhat shocked by the big-city concrete desert and the already forgotten hustle

To reach the bus in the destination, we set ourselves an "early gull" (to swing the backpacks at the first crow, laughter or squeak).

Since Camina packs my backpack, I feel like I'm shrinking a little with every tour... 😃

Around 7:30 AM, we left the good and relatively inexpensive hotel in Laxe on the

We had already decided when checking in the day before that we didn't want to expose ourselves to the heat of up to 28 degrees with a hike.

Besides, we were increasingly feeling the exhaustion in our feet and, in my case, also in my back from the double strain of a fanny pack and a backpack.

This means

We would still like to add two small city tours in Laxe because many beautiful photos were taken there, even if they were not the most demanding hikes.

After we had finished the coastal tour and hadn't had the chance yet, we wanted to experience a sunset during our vacation.

So, we first took a look at

Lately, we've been a bit lax with our travel reports, or rather, we've approached them more "laxly". Perhaps this is because we've now been relaxing in Laxe for longer...

But now for the report on how we got there...

The night in the bungalow was quiet, although too short to fully regenerate.

But since

Even in the most beautiful (quiet) spot of Muxia 😃 you can spend a very lively night, if:

a) the same travelling companions, who snore, share the same room

b) an unforeseen thunderstorm starts late in the evening

c) Deportivo La Coruna is promoted to the first Spanish football league

d) some pilgrims want

Today's route begins the return journey to A Coruna, but it remains exciting whether we can actually walk everything or will have to take the bus at some point.

Because being dried out in today's midday heat brought little joy and was a real struggle also in terms of motivation.

After spending so much time on the beach yesterday and the view from the hotel being so beautiful, we rested our tired limbs a bit on a rest day and just wanted to quickly go to the end of the world (Kap de Finisterra) ... 😃

... but then in the heat, we ended up going to the harbor, to the beach, 2x

The most important message first. Melon is not good pilgrim food in densely populated areas... 😃

The harbor of Corcubion is very worth seeing with its tiled seating areas.

This was followed by the detour to the lighthouse of Cee. "Lighthouse" is perhaps the wrong term, because you really needed photographic

The night in the hostel was largely quiet, only my bed was a bit like a hammock...

So we set off at 7:20 am. At the edge of the village, we fell into a tourist trap and had a very expensive breakfast because a sign warned us that it would be the last chance to rest for the next 15 km.

(It was true, but

After yesterday's tour ended in a guesthouse instead of the closed hostel, we hoped for a quiet night after a 3-course pilgrim's menu.

However, we recognized the snorer from the previous night, whose noises penetrated through the sound-permeable walls at a similar level...

So we started again, somewhat

The A Casa do Boi hostel in Lombao was hard to beat in terms of facilities and the host's friendliness.

The beds were already made and there were towels and soap in the bathroom. The common rooms and terraces also invited longer stays. The prices for the evening snack and breakfast were very reasonable

Today's stage connects as the 10th stage of our Camino Ingles, but is also recognized as an independent pilgrimage route from Santiago to Cap de Finisterre (hence the numbering 1 again in parentheses).

The late morning began around 9:30 AM with a walk to the city center of Santiago to drop off our backpacks
